SMITH MANDEL & ASSOCIATES, LLP was founded with great enthusiasm on July 1, 1997 by R. Douglas Smith and Steven J. Mandel. Doug and Steve were both partners in the apparel firm of Cohn Handler & Co. for many years before joining forces to create Smith Mandel & Associates, LLP which primarily provides accounting, taxation and consulting services for small to medium size corporate clients. Our philosophy is to provide a proactive, personalized service with a hands-on approach to the financial, tax and management needs of our clients. We serve clients from a wide variety of industries and currently have a niche practice providing service to a vast array of apparel companies. | |
