In 1997, Waterfowler.com launched the first Internet-based, real-time waterfowl migration tracking system. After a successful season of tracking and reporting of waterfowl in the Mississippi Flyway, Waterfowler.com expanded migration coverage to include the Central, Atlantic and Pacific Flyways in 1998. As readership expanded to over 100,000 unique interactive participants, so did the accuracy of Waterfowler.com's reporting and tracking earning accolades from industry peers such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl Foundation, Sports Afield, and Field & Stream, and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
