Overview:
Cornerstone Children's Center is the brainchild of Lisbeth Olsen Condo and Margaret Conley Heffel. It was conceived as an early care and education center of the highest quality, designed to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive, to be a support to the busy parent, to be a great place for professionals to work and to be a resource to the community. Marge and Lisbeth love what they do. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in every aspect of Cornerstone Children's Center. Lisbeth Olsen Condo earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Western Connecticut State University in 1988. She entered the childcare field in the summer of 1987 and has been dedicated to positively impacting the quality of the care for young children, supporting parents and developing staff to reach their fullest potential ever since. Lisbeth is actively involved in the childcare community. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the New England, Connecticut and Mid Fairfield AEYCs. Lisbeth served on the Board of the Connecticut AEYC as Co-chair of their newsletter. She is a Validator for the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and Co-chair of the Greater Bridgeport Director's Group Staff Development Committee.
