Overview:
Angelico started out in 1987, at that time however, we were purveyors of old world trims and ribbon. The whimsy part is genetic. Then came the call, a customer thought we might be interested in some old stock left by the previous store owner. The next day we were in the trim, ribbon and vintage millinery (boxes and boxes of it) business. Not long after, a carpenter brought us some sewing things he had rescued from a warehouse renovation. The next day we were in the trim, ribbon, vintage milllinery and vintage button (boxes and boxes of them) business. After that came shot silk scraps (circa 1935) from the umbrella factory. We did not, however, go into the umbrella business. | |
