Overview:
Day Ray Products has designed and manufactured special fluorescent lighting equipment since 1941, marking the very infancy of the U.S. commercial aircraft industry. During this period, we have met the most stringent design and quality requirements of our industry. Day-Ray introduced the first family of ballasts for aircraft-a line of 400 HZ fluorescent ballasts for use with starter type lamps in Douglas' DC-6 and DC-7 and in Lockheed aircraft. With the development of more rugged, rapid-start aircraft fluorescent lamps, we designed and built rapid-start, single and bi-level ballasts and sockets to support and operate these lamps. Over its many years of operations, our company has striven to be responsive to our customers' needs and preferences. As a result, our "product line" has grown to well over one hundred different models of ballasts, a variety of transformers and other aviation lighting accessories. | |
