Overview:
Agile Automotive Performance was established in the summer of 2003 and we opened our doors in September 2003. Hill McCarty, now full owner of the business, strived to establish a performance company who's mission was to provide excellent customer service and the highest level of craftsmanship. We purchased the Dynapack AWD dyno within our first month of being open, hoping to focus on the AWD platforms that were being released at the time and that continue to be introduced into the automotive market. We also made sure we had plenty of 2WD capability--our dyno can be broken down into two 2WD dynos that can be run simultaneously. After 3 years, we had outgrown our little 2-bay shop and then some! Our office was being run out of a remodeled shipping container, our parking lot was full of cars that wouldn't fit in the shop, we had no space to store inventory, and the 1500 square feet of usable space was much too small for 4 techs and 2 office employees. In August 2006 we found a 9,200 square foot facility minutes off of I-95 in Fallston, Maryland (just south of Bel Air). We were moved in and open for business at the beginning of September. The building has 6 garage bays and a huge showroom with drive-in access. It has allowed us to keep a much larger inventory, set up a customer waiting area, and have a lot more room for everyone to get work done.
