Overview:
Welcome to the Website of R&F Handmade Paints. For those of you who don't yet know us, we are a small company that manufactures high quality artist paints. Currently we make two types of paint. R&F Encaustic Paint is our version of the classic wax based paint that has been used since ancient times. We also make R&F Pigment Sticks, our high quality Oil Stick. Mill-Pouring But, R&F has become more than just a company that makes and sells paint. Since encaustic is such a little known medium we have become a resource center for information dealing with encaustic. We teach Encaustic Workshops, maintain an extensive slide collection of encaustic work, consult with galleries and museums, run our own Gallery and sponsor a biennial juried show of encaustic work. | |
