Overview:
Duncan's Outdoor Shop started out in the early fifties as an archery business for Charles & Patricia Duncan. At first, the couple ran it out of their apartment and gave shooting lessons in the backyard. The business took off and they moved it to a 1,000 square foot building in Saginaw, Michigan. Being traditional archers, when compound bows came on the scene, they decided to drop archery and concentrate on serving area sport shooters. Son, Glenn Duncan took over the business in 1993, and moved it to Bay City, adding a pistol range. Duncan's consists of a retail shop, gun repair shop, holster manufacturing shop, a ten-position pistol range, a five-position air rifle/archery range, (2) 50's, (1) 100 and (1) 200 yard indoor rifle range. The building and ranges total approximately 20,000 square feet. We generally have about 700 guns on the floor throughout the year. | |
