Overview:
Hispanic Health Initiatives, Inc. (HHI), incorporated in June of 2000, is a 501(c)3, non-profit, volunteer driven, community based organization, addressing the health needs of the medically under-served populations of Central Florida. HHI is the only Hispanic health agency in Central Florida specifically targeting the Hispanic community. HHI services other minority communities such as the Haitian and Vietnamese populations living in the area. During the past 7+ years, HHI has provided: health forums, health fairs, health classes, screening events and referrals of free or low cost mammogram, paps and other health services to thousands of Central Florida families, most of which are uninsured or under-insured. | |
