Overview:
A.B.Tees was started in 1986 and inspired by an experience at the Jersey shore. The sun was shinning that day in June and several stores along the beach had screen printed t-shirts hanging outdoors. The colors on some of the shirts were vibrant and had an impact on me visually. Several days later, I went to Pearl Paint on Canal Street and purchased a screen print kit that included some black ink, a screen and one squeegee. While still living at home, my parent's garage was transformed into a one man printing shop. | |
