Overview:
Serving industry since 1982, BailSco Blades & Castings is a leading producer of a wide variety of specialty aluminum castings. BailSco operates three plants in Shreveport, Louisiana, and ships products worldwide. Today, the company's primary product lines are cast aluminum airfoil propellers and v-belt sheaves (pulleys) directed to the air movement market, with particular emphasis on the cooling tower segment of the industry. Propellers are supplied from 10" in diameter up to 96" in diameter, and are available in both fixed pitch as well as adjustable pitch designs. BailSco is also one of the few manufacturers who produce a truly reversible airfoil propeller, which permits the airflow to be reversed. In addition, BailSco produces contract castings for Original Equipment Manufacturers using the permanent molding process. Castings can be produced in aluminum alloys of 319.1SR, 356.1, or A357. Other services provided at BailSco include in- house tool and die, machining, heat treating, and Zyglo penetrant testing. BailSco operates both a green sand facility as well as a completely integrated permanent molding foundry. Modern tilt-pour casting machines, and in-house mold design and fabrication offers our customers "one stop" service.
