Overview:
This site contains a collection of photographs and memorabilia from our trip to Russia and Turkey in June 2001. Our cultural excursion was led by Mr. Tolga Hayali from Horizon Science Academy of Cleveland, Ohio. This was one of three trips sponsored by Horizon and it's teachers. Mr. Hayali teaches science at Horizon. The 5 students that went with us were eighth graders. This site is not complete and I have plans on adding captions, testimonials, historical information and the like in the near future. I wanted to publish the collection of photos that we took so that our friends and family both here in the U.S. and our new friends in the countries we visited could enjoy them. This site is dedicated to our friends in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Antalya and Istanbul who showed us such kindness and hospitality while we were there.
