Overview:
Absolute Service, Inc. (ASI) is a privately-held American company headquartered in Maryland, USA. We provide pre-publication services that include document conversion, OCR scanning, keyboarding or typesetting, proofreading, copy editing, artwork rendering, image scanning, and page makeup work. We also provide database data entry and indexing services. In recent years, we have also ventured in Internet and customer-help services such as order taking, email correspondence, accounting and billing requirements. Our customers include leading publishing houses in the United States, trucking and freight payment companies, healthcare companies, and Internet-based companies, to name a few. Before the incorporation, Absolute Service started out as Asia Prepress Technology, LLC, a limited liability company established by Mr. Calvin Cox, its CEO, in 1995. While our headquarters is in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the first production plant was located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines. We expanded our operation when Calvin Cox decided to put up a branch in Clark Field, Pampanga where SGML-related work and most of the Internet services operation is based. ASI employs highly-trained technical staff of over 200 people and still growing. We do not run a sweat shop! Our associates (that's what we call them), work in a pleasant and relaxed environment and are highly motivated.
