Chartered in September 1985, the bank changed its name from the Bank of Eastern Idaho in 1999 in anticipation of future growth outside of eastern Idaho. That same year the bank moved its administrative offices to the refurbished O.E. Bell building on North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls.
