Overview:
AmeriCare Living Centers and Communities and their affiliates (AmeriCare) own, have under lease, or manage thirteen (13) skilled nursing facilities and fifteen (15) assisted living communities in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. AmeriCare primarily concentrates in secondary markets in counties with a population of less than 50,000. Our focus is to provide a continuum of care in a campus atmosphere that will provide independent living, low income tax credit housing for seniors, assisted living, residential and skilled nursing. Several of our communities already have these multi-tiered services. Additionally, AmeriCare and its managing partner, Heritage Medical Group, develop primary care or physician practices for select campuses. Heritage Medical Group is also responsible for the oversight of new construction projects, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living buildings, condominiums and affordable housing for seniors, as well as the rehabilitation and remodeling of existing structures. | |
