Overview:
RMC is a private, nonprofit corporation located at the base of Colorado s Rocky Mountains. Since 1974, RMC has disseminated comprehensive school health education programs and provided inservice training to educators, parents, and others committed to improving health. In addition to its strong emphasis on effective health education curricula, RMC provides technical assistance and training on the national health education standards. Since 1994, RMC has operated a statewide prevention information center which is available to the general public. In 2000, RMC began providing training and support to Colorado agencies, communities and coalitions engaged in substance abuse prevention. The Rocky Mountain Center has a distinguished board of directors, employs 30 staff, and contracts with 28 consultant trainers. | |
