Overview:
Established in 1961, the 15th Street Surf Shop has been a mainstay in Newport Beach. Just steps from the beach, we have been selling surf wear and swim wear for the whole family to both locals and visitors for over 40 years. In 1994 David Moon bought the surf shop and has been able to continue on with all the hottest fashions in both swim wear and surf wear. Along with many of the top brand names, we also have our own brand name which has been the favorite for visitors to Newport Beach for many years. Thanks to surfboard collector Doug Keyzers, we now have a fantastic surf museum as well. (with boards from the late 20's to present). When you walk through the door your eyes will go from old wood planks from the early 30's to paddle boards from the 40's, balsa boards from the 50's and belly boards, longboards and transition boards from the 60's and 70's. Don't forget to look for the aluminum jet surf board or the worlds longest vintage surfboard at 16 ft. long!!!
