From building race cars and retail construction sales in Tucson, Arizona to designs in metal in Strong, Maine, AK Designs has become a labor of love for Art and Karen Crouse. Art spent over 25 years building sprint cars and midgets in Southern Arizona all the while working as Transportation Supervisor for Tucson Electric Power. Karen spent over 20 years in retail construction sales in Tucson. Which is how they met, married and eventually moved to Maine to "live life as it should be". | |
