Overview:
Started by Alcee H. Beauchemin in 1949, Beauchemin Lumber began as A.H. Beauchemin & Sons. Alcee originally started the business so that his sons would have a job to look forward to when they returned from war. In 1969, Alcee's son Richard bought the business from his father. Today, Richard is still the owner, however, the yard is co-managed by his daughter, Anne and son Stephen. Richard Jr. is also employed in sales. Beauchemin Lumber continues to serve the Blackstone-Valley area with the professional service instilled by their grandfather and founder. |
