Overview:
The Hale House Inn, a 19th century Greek Revival home, is just a short stroll from downtown Jefferson Texas where during the mid 1800's a flourishing riverport town became known as the gateway to the southwest. Built by the Hale's in 1880 it remained in the family becoming the personal residence of Miss May Belle Hale a prominent Jeffersonian, an accomplished musician and published composer for many years. Current owners Timm and Karen Jackson recently bought the residence and have added their touch to its elegance. The Inn is comfortably furnished with gorgeous period antiques and has been restored to include modern conveniences along with its hardwood floors, antique mirrors, and even an antique melodia built in 1750. Six beautifully appointed guest rooms, each with its own private bath, and a charming sun porch and gazebo where you can choose to have breakfast, make The Hale House Inn a delightful setting to spend a night or a week, celebrate a honeymoon, anniversary or any other special occasion of your life. The Hale House Inn has much to offer from delicious refreshments upon your arrival to its six beautifully furnished guestrooms each with its own private bath.
