The BDCRI supports a number of community-based initiatives that help entrepreneurs and the community achieve and sustain growth. Among them are: The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition - Established by the BDCRI in 2001, this event aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in Rhode Island and help create growth companies that will increase local employment. Tech Collective The BDCRI is a member of this not-for-profit association that fosters a prosperous and competitive environment for the Rhode Island information technology and bioscience industries. Junior Achievement of Rhode Island - The BDCRI is pleased to help educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise. BDCRI President Garrett Hunter is a member of the executive committee and secretary of the board. | |
