Sand Hill Media was founded by Stephen Sutter, who, after graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (EECS), had a 10 year career in the technical and creative sides of the film business before turning to purely engineering work for a Bay Area design firm. In 1997 he started Sand Hill Media which has been very successful with major projects for various film and corporate clients. Sand Hill Media draws upon an impressive talent pool of technical associates that can lend specific expertise to each project as required.
