Overview:
Cross Stitch and More was "born" in 1984 to Sally Criswell . mother of 8 children who thought she could do anything! With a terminally ill husband, I discovered that no one wanted to hire a middle-age woman who hadn't had a "paying" job in 14 years so we mortgaged the house and opened the shop on faith. The shop was to be more work than all the children put together tons of love just different. I'm not sure my children came to love the shop, but they learned soooooo much over the years: love for others, compassion, patience, bookkeeping, stocking and pricing inventory, and best of all how to make change! | |
