Overview: Broshears art skills are a combination of natural talent, study, art courses, and workshops, including instruction and critique from two other great "Cowboy Artist" masters, Mel Lawson and Grant Speed. In 1979, Broshears switched from painting to sculpting. In 1991, he began showing and selling bronzes at Western Art Shows. His renditions of working horses and cowboys have won numerous Best of Show Awards. In the year 2000, Broshears personally presented one of his bronze sculptures to the President of France. |
