| Overview: Smith-Victor is a company with a long history, wrapped up in the history of the United States from the late 19th century and all through the changes of the 20th century. Our history also intertwines with the development of photography and all the changes in technology that took it from the earliest silver emulsions of flash powder into motion pictures, video and now digital imaging. For detailed recounting of Smith-Victor's great past, check out our "History" section. Our Bartlett facility houses all of our sales, administrative, engineering, product development and management work, as well as expansive factory and warehouse space. We have capacity in our factory to make all of our products virtually from raw materials to finished product. Our metal working equipment includes automatic saws, press brakes, punch presses, welders, riveting machines and more. We have a complete plastics department with vacuum-forming, injection molding and sonic welding capabilities, among others. We have a complete finishing department in which we can wash, chemically etch and paint all of our metal components, and provide them with a baked-on finish.
