Overview: ERACE has been opening doors for students who want to graduate with a high school diploma or obtain their GED. After a productive spring semester, with 36 students graduating from our high school credit diploma program, our doors remained open for summer studies in July for the first time in ERACE history. Students taking the GED and those in our high school credit degree program were able to take classes in July. We continued to offer online courses in both high school credit diploma program and GED. Our doors remained open so the continuum of study for our students was not interrupted, and to give our students a chance to progress faster toward their goals. Our expanding enrichment program brings new and traditional courses of study to the adult population. Some of our new classes are: baby sign language, holistic cooking, a variety of craft and art courses, dance and exercise programs, computing instruction, hypnosis, self-publishing, sewing, medical coding and intro to auto cad. We have more health and finance programs that are informational and timely. Our partner in online education, ed2go, is popular and our summer promotion for ed2go online courses was enthusiastically received. |
